Bird on Beach Glass Necklace

Artist Teena Stewart is also a published author and this unique bird in flight design was inspired by her book Tattered Love, on strained mother-daughter relationships.  (Soon to be released.) In it she uses the illustration of a trapped bird trying to find its way to freedom.

A bird is painted on white beach glass and wrapped in brass wire and hangs from an 18" velveteen cord. Each beach glass focal piece has its own unique shape and is hand-painted and may differ somewhat from the one in the photo.
